Creating a new round

Creating a new round comes down to filling in a few basic fields: the name, an optional description, and the date. If the round is meant to run on the same rules as the rest of the season, nothing more is needed.

If you want to change any parameter for a specific round, you can override the season settings directly on the round level. The adjusted values apply only to that one round and do not affect others or the season settings.

A good example of when this comes in handy is an Americano league, where the ideal number of points per match depends on how many players have signed up. If a particular round has more or fewer participants than usual, you can adjust that value in the round settings without touching anything at the season level.
